ARTISTS EXHIBITION AND RECEPTION


Three Guild Artists, Hedi Flickstein, Jeff Bevis and Stewart McCullum will displaying their works at the Walt Whitman Birthplace State Historic Site during the month of August 2010. A reception is also scheduled for August 1, 2010. The reception for these artists will be in the afternoon from 2:00 till 4:00 in the Interpretive Center. Refreshments will be served and a $5.00 donation to the center is requested. I am sure you will enjoy, the art work of these talented artists and the restored farmhouse which was the birthplace of of legendary poet Walt Whitman.

PETIT MONET



Photographic Artist Jeff Bevis's evocative group of photographs entitled PETIT MONET will be showing at the H. Lee Dennison Building beginning June 1, 2010. The show will then move to the Offices of the Town of Brookhaven August 1, 2010. Don't miss your chance to see these amazing works.

FORM POETRY WORKSHOP



May 1, 2010 is the date for a Form Poetry Workshop to be held at the Sheraton-Smithtown Hotel. The instructor for this event is J. Turik. There is a fee of $30.00 at the door or $25.00 in advance. The workshop begins at 11:00 am and lasts till 1:00 pm. The is also a light breakfast included.

UNLIMITED VISIONS in RIVERHEAD




















By popular demand Unlimited Visions will be shown at the RiverHead Free Library beginning January 3, 2010. This is the work of very talented disabled artists. This exhibition includes Jeff Bevis's dramatic macro photography, Joseph Cartin's impressionist photographs, Hedi Flickstein's collages and Maria Ilious's beautiful oil seascapes. This could be your last chance to see these exciting works.
